Gale Lane, by Lance Allen
I released a new song today called, Gale Lane. My memory of staying with my dad on alternating weekends is fading as the years go by. I’m glad I got to see my dad as a kid, play guitar with him, watch movies, and try out new Nintendo games in the back room. I hated that my dad and his brother always argued and fought over things, which made many of my visits quite stressful. I try not to remember those moments. This tune is melancholic, which I intended because sometimes the memories we remember are not always the best. The descending line of notes has a simple background lyric, “My memories of Gale Lane”. Even though I do not sing the lyrics, many of my songs have them, usually giving them a title and a meaning. I hope this instrumental guitar song of mine speaks to your heart, and perhaps will give you good loving memories.
You can enjoy this song along with my catalog of music anywhere you stream.
